TRNC Parliament Discusses Ministry of Labour Budget for Nearly 12 Hours
The General Assembly of the TRNC Parliament has approved the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare's budget after a 12-hour discussion. The budget passed with a majority vote.

The session began yesterday at 1:00 PM and wrapped up around 1:00 AM.
One of the deputies noted that the country's workforce is steadily growing, as reflected in the ministry's activity report. However, it was also pointed out that half of the actively insured workers are foreigners.
Additionally, it was highlighted that, on average, 417 workplace accidents occur annually in Northern Cyprus, with approximately 6 to 10 fatalities each year.
After extensive debate, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare's budget was approved at 5 billion 430 million 161 thousand Turkish lira.
