Prime Minister Visits State Hospital Construction Site in Pamuklu
TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel inspected the construction of the 25-bed state hospital in Pamuklu (Karpaz).
Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek reported that the project is progressing at an accelerated pace and could be completed ahead of the contract deadline—by the end of this year. According to him, the hospital will become a vital medical center for Karpaz, where timely assistance for critical patients is particularly relevant due to the region's remoteness.
Ünal Üstel noted that the project had been discussed for 40 years, but only the current government managed to realize it. He emphasized that the construction is being carried out within the framework of economic cooperation protocols with Turkey.
Following the site visit, the Prime Minister also inspected the progress of roadworks in the Zaferburnu area.
