Turkish President to Visit TRNC
President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on July 20 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation. The Turkish leader is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Assembly of the Republic.
According to the Turkish President's press office, Erdoğan has an extensive diplomatic agenda planned following the celebration of Kurban Bayram.
On July 3-4, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will travel to Astana to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. Following this, the Turkish President will visit Azerbaijan on July 5-6 to attend an informal summit of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States in Shusha.
Erdoğan will then attend the NATO leaders' summit in the United States from July 9-11. On July 20, he will travel to Northern Cyprus to mark the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation and deliver a speech at the Assembly of the Republic in the TRNC.
Additionally, meetings with global leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Joe Biden, are planned in the near future.
