Temperatures to Climb 4–6°C Above Average – TRNC Weather Forecast for May 23
The Meteorology Department of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) reports that warm, humid air and low atmospheric pressure are expected to dominate the region on Friday, May 23. The day will bring partly cloudy skies, but no rainfall is expected.
Temperatures are forecast to rise 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above the seasonal norm, reaching between 28°C and 36°C across most of the country. No storms are predicted.
Winds will blow moderately from the southwest. Two official weather alerts have been issued for Northern Cyprus:

High wildfire risk: Dry vegetation and elevated temperatures significantly increase the danger of wildfires.

High UV levels: The ultraviolet radiation index is high, and staying under direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes is not recommended.
