Tufan Erhürman solemnly welcomed in Kazakhstan at the summit of Turkic states

President Tufan Erhürman arrived in Turkestan (Kazakhstan) to participate in the informal summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held under the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development."
Erhürman arrived in Kazakhstan on the evening of May 14. At the Turkestan airport, he was greeted with great attention and warmth. The airport's electronic screens displayed a photo of the president along with a welcome message: "Welcome to Turkestan, Mr. President Tufan Erhürman."
Erhürman's participation in the summit is seen as an important step in strengthening the TRNC's ties with the Turkic world. During the meetings, leaders are expected to discuss the development of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and the expansion of cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres.
The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States is being held in Turkestan with the participation of leaders and representatives of the member countries. Special attention this year is paid to the issues of digital transformation and technological development of the Turkic states.
