In Nicosia, a man stabbed a person in a parking lot fight
A fight occurred in a parking lot in Nicosia, during which one person sustained knife wounds.
According to the police, the incident took place on April 8 around 17:30. A conflict arose between the suspect, Onur Koşan, and a 20-year-old man due to a previous road rage incident. The argument escalated into a fight, during which the suspect inflicted several strikes with a folding knife approximately 15 cm long.
The victim sustained several cuts ranging from 1 to 2 cm and was taken to the Near East University Hospital, where he was discharged after receiving treatment.
The suspect was detained, and the knife was found at the scene and seized as evidence. During the investigation, police also obtained statements and CCTV footage.
Judge Şevket Gazi ordered the suspect's release on bail, prohibiting him from leaving the country. Additionally, he must report to the police once a week, pay 40,000 Turkish Liras as bail, and provide a guarantor for the amount of 700,000 Liras.
