Spring Potato Sales to Start in the TRNC
Starting tomorrow, spring potatoes will be available for purchase in Northern Cyprus, priced at 45 Turkish lira per kilogram.
The TRNC Soil Products Institute (TÜK) has announced the launch of these sales. According to their statement, the 2024 crop of table potatoes will be sold at several locations: the potato factory in Famagusta, the feed mill and seed center in Akdoğan, the potato sales point in Nicosia, warehouse No. 4 in İskele, as well as in Kumyalı, Haspolat, Güzelyurt, and Geçitkale.
The potatoes will be offered in 10-kilogram bags at a price of 45 TL per kilogram, inclusive of VAT.
