Cyprus exceeded expectations: Christodoulides announced the country's growing role on the world stage

Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides stated that the country has once again reaffirmed its ability to play a significant role on the international stage, despite its size. He shared this on Saturday on the social network X.

According to the head of state, Cyprus has demonstrated the potential to unite countries and regions, as well as to achieve results that exceed expectations. He emphasized that he is proud of the republic's achievements and is optimistic about its future role in international processes.

Christodoulides noted that in recent days, Cyprus has served as a platform for important political dialogue, hosting an informal meeting of the European Council in the region for the first time. The meeting, according to him, took place at a critical moment and allowed EU leaders not only to exchange views but also to outline further steps.

The President stressed that such initiatives confirm Cyprus's ability to contribute to the formation of the international agenda and act as a link between regions.
