The Municipality of Ayia Napa signed contracts worth over €4.5 million for construction projects
Two contracts for the implementation of projects with a total value exceeding 4.5 million euros were signed on Wednesday, October 8, at the Municipality of Ayia Napa in Cyprus. The works include the construction of an open-air amphitheatre in the municipal district of Avgorou and the creation of an outdoor sports facility in the municipal district of Achna.
The contracts were signed by Mayor Christos Zannettou and the director of the contracting company Imatech Kounna Ltd, Epifanios Kounna, in the presence of the deputy mayors of the municipal districts of Achna and Avgorou — Nikos Vasilas and Panayis Michailas.
In a statement, the municipality noted that the projects aim to develop cultural, sports, and social infrastructure, support local events, and improve the quality of life for residents and visitors. The mayor described the signing as a “historic moment” for the new municipality.
The deputy mayors expressed their gratitude to those involved in the preparation and implementation of the projects. The contractor’s representative assured that the company would carry out high-quality work within the specified deadlines.
