Blood Donation Station in Limassol Relocates
The blood donation station in Limassol has officially moved to a new location, and as of today, donors are invited to visit the new address.
Androula Panayiotou, the head of the Blood Center, explained that starting Monday, the center will be housed in the Old Limassol Hospital, in the area that previously served as the pharmacy.
Previously, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the center was temporarily located at St. George’s Church in Chavouza. However, with the growing demand for blood donations, it became clear that a more suitable facility was needed, leading to this move.
“We completed the move over the weekend. We believe this new location allows the center to operate more effectively, and we warmly invite our donors to come visit us,” said Panayiotou.
Starting Monday, the Limassol Blood Donation Station will be open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at its new location in the Old Limassol Hospital.
