Anti-War Protest in Limassol Demands Closure of Military Bases
An anti-war demonstration organized by the Cyprus Peace Council took place at the Molos amphitheater in Limassol. Participants demanded the closure of foreign military bases on the island and called for Cyprus to abstain from involvement in Middle East conflicts.
Protesters voiced strong opposition to the use of Cypriot territory for military operations, condemning recent US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran. They urged the Republic of Cyprus to maintain neutrality and reject any participation in regional military escalations.
