Man arrested in Limassol with cocaine and suspicious substances

Cyprus Drug Law Enforcement Unit officers arrested a 35-year-old man in Limassol on suspicion of drug possession and trafficking.
According to law enforcement authorities, the suspect's car was stopped for a check on the afternoon of May 18. During the search, police found several packages of cocaine with a total weight of about 38 grams, as well as a small amount of cash.
Following this, based on a judicial warrant, officers conducted a search of the detainee's home. In the apartment, they found approximately five more grams of cocaine, four glass pipes with traces of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, two tablets with unknown contents, and a glass vial of testosterone.
All discovered substances and items were seized for forensic examination.
By court order, the man was arrested and placed in custody. The investigation is considering the suspect's potential involvement in illicit drug trafficking.
