Parked car caught fire in Limassol
Early this morning at 04:13, the fire service received a report of a fire in a car parked near the owner's house in the Zakaki area of Limassol district.
The Monovolikos fire station responded to the scene. However, by the time the firefighters arrived, the car owner had already managed to extinguish the fire on their own.
Fire service personnel inspected the vehicle and disconnected the battery to prevent re-ignition.
As a result of the fire and high temperatures, the front part of the car sustained serious damage.
The causes of the fire will be determined during an investigation to be conducted in cooperation with the competent authorities.
