Social Center in Mouttalos, Paphos, Temporarily Closed
Acting Mayor of Paphos Angelos Onisiforou has announced the temporary sealing of the Community Welfare Council (SKE) center in the Mouttalos district.
According to him, the decision was made not to cause inconvenience to residents, but to address existing issues and protect public interests. The center's premises are temporarily closed, and site cleaning work has already been carried out.
The municipality emphasized that it does not plan to close the facility permanently. Authorities are considering various options so that the center can resume operations under proper conditions and with transparent management.
The Mayor's office also stated that they are continuing to work on solutions to ensure the normal functioning of the space for the benefit of the community.
