New Feeding Stations for Stray Cats Installed in Paralimni
The Municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia has announced the installation of ten additional feeding stations for stray cats.
According to the statement, the feeding houses were donated by veterinarian Panayiotis Tsoukkas, owner of the Furry Friends Veterinary Clinic in Paralimni. The municipality described the move as a "wonderful gesture that demonstrates a real love for animals."
Authorities emphasized that they continue to actively implement animal protection programs to ensure stray cats can live safely, be fed, and receive care.
Furthermore, the municipality announced plans to landscape the roundabout near the District Land Registry in Paralimni. The central element of the renovated circle will be a traditional agricultural windmill, which is set to become a new landmark for the city.
A circular water fountain with changing water jets and colored lighting is planned to be installed around the windmill. The area will also be decorated with greenery and flowers.
