Household visits and data collection: Aloydköy becomes the first starting point

The TRNC Statistical Service will begin updating addresses in the Aloydköy area on 1 December. These activities will form part of the preparatory stage for the large-scale “Household Budget Survey”.
According to the head of the Statistical Service, Sövüda Besimler, the project is being carried out with the support of the Gönyeli–Aloydköy Municipality and aims to collect up-to-date data that will help plan the future more accurately and analyse the country’s needs. She stated that the service’s goal is to obtain “the most accurate and up-to-date data in the interests of society” and to lay a solid foundation for planning.
Besimler called on local residents to treat the interviewers’ work with understanding, to give them time and thus support the project. She also thanked all municipalities, their employees, and the interviewers who will be involved in the survey.
