Turkish Cypriot athlete Ada Kafa wins gold at tournament in Bulgaria

Young athlete from Northern Cyprus Ada Kafa became the winner of the international U18 athletics competition held in Mladost, Bulgaria. Competing as part of the Turkish national team, she won the gold medal in the 800m race.
Ada Kafa finished first with a time of 2 minutes 12.19 seconds, outpacing her rivals and making a successful debut in European competitions. The young athlete's victory was a significant achievement for both the Northern Cyprus Athletics Federation and the entire Turkish Cypriot sports community.
Her coach, Hasan Maydon, who had previously set ambitious goals for the team for the current season, played a special role in the athlete's success. The federation noted that the victory in Bulgaria provides confidence ahead of future international starts.
During the award ceremony, Ada Kafa stood on the top step of the podium, with her coach sharing the joy of victory. The young athlete's success is already being hailed as one of the most brilliant sporting achievements of the season for Northern Cyprus.
