Large-scale police raids: seven detainees and nearly 160 traffic fines

Police conducted a series of organized patrols in urban areas, during which seven people were detained on various charges including theft, drug possession, failure to appear in court, impersonation, and execution of fine warrants. The operations were aimed at preventing serious crimes, maintaining public order, and enhancing the sense of security among citizens.
According to a police statement, during the raids, law enforcement officers checked 277 drivers and 90 passengers, and inspected 32 establishments. As a result of the checks, nine reports were filed for identified violations.
Special attention was paid to road safety. In total, police officers issued 159 fines for various traffic violations and initiated investigations into eight cases related to traffic offenses.
The most common violation was speeding — 94 such cases were recorded. In addition, four vehicles were impounded during the operations.
Police also conducted 36 sobriety checks on drivers, resulting in two reports. Another six drivers tested positive for narcotics during preliminary testing.
The police emphasized that such coordinated operations continue daily. Increased patrols, targeted checks, and rapid actions are aimed at fighting crime, increasing public safety, and maintaining order on the roads and in the country's cities.
