Vice-President of the European Commission to Visit Cyprus for the Third Time
Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas will pay a visit to the Republic of Cyprus on Friday. During the trip, he will deliver a speech on democracy and elections.
According to information from the Politis newspaper, Margaritis Schinas will meet with the Ministers of Interior, Education, Justice, the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, and the Speaker of Parliament, Annita Dimitriou, during his visit to Cyprus.
Additionally, the Vice-President of the European Commission will deliver a speech on democracy and elections in the European Parliament at the University of Nicosia.
It is noted that this is already Margaritis Schinas's third visit during his tenure. Earlier, it was reported that more than 40 foreign ministers would visit Cyprus at the end of the week.
