A city tour and drift show will take place in Gönyeli today at 19:00

Today, November 7 at 19:00 in Northern Cyprus, a city tour and drift show will start in Gönyeli, organized by the NEU racing team in cooperation with the Gönyeli–Alayköy municipality.

The event route will start at NEU Event Park. Around 60 cars will take part in the tour, escorted by the police to Çağaloğlu Çemberi, where a drift performance will take place. The program will then continue on Yenikent Boulevard; participants and visitors will be able to view the displayed cars and take photos. A concert is planned for the evening.

The NEU Motorsport drift festival is taking place at NEU Event Park from November 3 to 9. As part of the festival, car shows, an opening concert, classic gymkhana training and races, as well as training sessions for the drift championship were held. The drift championship will start tonight in the semi-professional category; the professional category will take place on November 8, and the final — Drift NEU Drift Challenge — will be held on November 9.

The organizers report high public interest: 6,000 tickets have been sold for the championship weekend. Famous drivers from several countries are taking part in the event.
