40-Degree Heat Persists in Cyprus on July 30

According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, July 30, the region is influenced by seasonal low pressure and warm air masses.

This morning, the weather will be mostly clear, with occasional cloudiness, especially in the mountains.

The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will rise to 40°C in the inland areas, up to 33°C on the western coast, around 36°C on the other coasts, and 32°C in the mountainous areas. By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, but temporary low cloudiness will be observed on the coasts.

Nighttime temperatures will drop to 26°C in the inland areas and on the coast and to 21°C in the mountainous areas. It is expected that in the coming days, temperatures will remain at these levels, above the climatic norms.
