Eurobank announces voluntary redundancy scheme for employees
Eurobank has announced the launch of a voluntary redundancy scheme for its employees.
The program will run until March 23, and the maximum compensation amount can reach 200,000 euros. The payment will be exempt from taxation.
Under the terms of the program, the first 125 employees to apply will receive additional benefits. The bank's goal is the voluntary departure of approximately 300 workers.
For the first time, the scheme extends to all employees, including staff from CNP, the former Eurobank Cyprus, and the former Hellenic Bank.
To participate, employees must have at least five years of service with the bank and be over 35 years old at the start of the program.
The compensation amount will be calculated based on years of service, annual salary, age, and other factors.
The bank's management previously indicated that such a program might be launched as part of an organizational restructuring.
