Free seminars on pay transparency and equal pay to be held in Cyprus

Free online seminars dedicated to the use of a new job evaluation tool and ensuring pay transparency will take place in Cyprus on May 11 and 18. The events are organized as part of the European project eValueJobs, co-funded by the European Union and aimed at supporting companies in transitioning to new pay standards.
One of the project partners is the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). The main goal of the initiative is to help enterprises adapt to the requirements of EU Directive 2023/970, which provides for strengthening the principle of equal pay and transparency of reward systems.
A special digital job evaluation tool was developed within the project. It allows employers to objectively analyze job positions, create fairer pay schemes, and reduce the risks of discrimination in salary calculation.
The organizers note that the seminars will be practical and will help participants master the system in just one hour. In addition, CCCI will continue to provide free consultations and information events for businesses on the implementation of the new European rules.
New EU requirements will come into force as early as June 7, 2026. Therefore, companies need to prepare in advance for the obligations to ensure pay transparency and compliance with the principle of equal pay for men and women.
